Assurant Solutions has announced its tie up with Nationwide to provide four out of the six non-banking features to their new FlexPlus Account. This will be offered to the society’s five million current account customers in the UK and also to new customers.
We will be providing Mobile Phone Insurance, Extended Warranty, a Payment Card Cancellation service, and an Identity Fraud helpline into the packaged account, with Travel Insurance and Car Breakdown provided by others.
Mobile Phone Insurance (MPI) continues to play a major role in attracting customers to packaged accounts with more than nine million customers now able to benefit from protection of their mobile phone to cover repair and replacement of handsets that can commonly cost £650 or more to replace. The MPI offered to customers within the FlexPlus account has been independently awarded a 5-star Defaqto rating.
FlexPlus Account customers will be able to access critical services 24 hours a day through our centres of excellence, based in Hersham and Crewe.
